Road Trip and Concert

Little Rock was fun. Riverfest was fun. Montgomery Gentry was a little disappointing. Couldn't get very good pictures of them either (see below). Had a good time with the company (sis, sis's boyfriend, sis's boyfriend's friend)...eating and riding around...and then a VERY late movie. After Riverfest at around 11ish, Laura, Jeremy and I went to a very late showing of Pirates. It was good, just about an hour too long. I do love me some Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. They are some niiiiiice faces to look at--long hair or not!

School starts Monday and I'm actually looking forward to it a little bit. Other than working I've been moping around in a bored daze. I've been thankful for friends who talk to me thru email and instant message...they have helped pass the time.

Leaving for Little Rock around 1 tomorrow. Still have to pack and get my oil changed AND fill up my tank before leaving town. I'll post pics when i get back--unless Laura lets me use her computer :)

Heather said he put it on himself and then his daddy told him he got knocked out by the football. From then on he kept saying "knock out, knock out"...too funny. He's getting too big!

I haven't known what to do with myself this past week. No school, just work and running errands. Late mornings, late nights and yet I still wake up with headaches like I don't get enough sleep. Perhaps I should start leaning more towards early nights and late mornings?

Yesterday was a rough day, and I was so upset by about noon. I've been trying so hard to slowly get out on my own, but it's pretty difficult when people want insanely large deposits on little things like cell phones. I mean, I'm a college student, trying to establish credit...how in the world do they think I can come up with a $500 deposit just to get my own cell phone plan? And the main reason they want that deposit is because I don't have a long enough credit history. It's a never ending circle. I have a car in my name that I make monthly payments on, a credit card that I make payments on, school loans in my name...is that not enough history? I mean, come on!

Okay enough complaining. I still have 18 days until summer school starts. I love summer school, even though it's every day and the classes are really long. It goes by so fast, and then you don't have to worry about that class again.

Shower time, and then heading to work. Got church tonight--I should stay up there late and try to finish some of the painting in the nursery. Just a few touchups here and there are needed.

Shopping Spree!

So I sold my textbooks back this afternoon and got way more money than I expected--so I treated myself to a little shopping spree! Here's what I got...







Of course they don't look like that on me, I got a REAL woman's set of hips :) Thanks to my grandmother of course!

I played hookie from work today. I'm fighting the allergy stuff again, so I was all stopped up and had a headache, but I also have my last final tomorrow morning at 10. I am supposed to work tonight until 10:30, so I knew it wouldn't leave much time to study, so I went ahead and got off.

Oh, and I know I haven't posted a picture of me in it, but here's the dress I got for Easter and Sam's rehearsal dinner in July. Let me know what you think! Again, it doesn't look like it does on the model when I have it on. But it still looks pretty good!

Africa

Yayness!

Woo hoo! Just checked my grade and Amanda and I made a 50/50 on our presentation! The mean ole teacher gave us full credit, even after she told us to "hurry up". Yay for us!

Not much happened today. I went to a birthday party, and then met a friend for a light supper and then came home and finished making note cards for finals next week. I need to find out if any of my friends are having a celebratory get-together for the end of school. My two hardest finals are on Thursday and Friday, so I know by the end of next week I'm going to be craving some chips and salsa from El Chico's! Let me know if you want to join and won't leave me there by myself!

Anyway, just had to brag. It's 12:30 and I need to go to bed so I can get up for church in about 7 hours!
