Anyone ever video chatted with someone? I’d done it before but only with some family that lives far away. Neither of us had a good connection and it wasn’t that great.
I’d been talking with some friends on Twitter and we decided we wanted to chat with each other.

Who knew video chatting could be so fun? My friends Mandy, Ellyn, Sara and I got together on tokbox.com and had a grand ole time chatting with each other.

Of course, my Southern accent got picked on. But I love these girls, so I’ll let it slide.
And a combination of my slow internet and pretty crappy webcam made for some pretty funny moments. They had to “call” me back several times cause my silly little computer (read: 5 year old bogged down computer) would freeze up.
I can’t count the times I caught a joke approximately 15 seconds after it had been said and laughed about, so I would really confuse them when I would suddenly laugh. But they just laughed back at me. Thanks girls.
It was really fun, and I hope it will be a routine thing for us to do weekly or every other week. Lord knows I can use a few laughs in my life.
