For the last few days I've been bound and determined to find a particular picture of me when I was little. I never found it, but came across these (and many other quite humorous ones) during my search. I used to be so cute!!

I just love Carrie...this is the new video for the movie "Enchanted" from Disney.

I got to thinking about something today. I took a sociology class over the summer and it focused on the family and dynamics of the family. The class was okay, but I didn't like my teacher. Anyway, I remember coming to the realization about something during the few weeks of that class.

Nowadays, I think the stats say 50% of marriages end in divorce. It's staggering to think about, isn't it? I'm very fortunate though. None of my immediate family are divorced. My parents have been married 31 years this month. None of my aunts or uncles are divorced from their spouses. One of my aunts is on her 2nd marriage, but she's my aunt by marriage, so her first marriage wasn't even when we were all around. Heck, both sets of my grandparents were married until the day they died, and my dad's parents only dated like 3 months!

It's kind of scary to think about this though. What if I break the tradition? What if, for some reason or another, I make a wrong decision and my marriage (considering I even get married), doesn't last?

Who knows. Maybe I'm just overthinking things. I'm not even in a relationship at the moment. Which, for the first time in a while, I'm actually happy with. Imagine that.
