Whew! Boy am I glad to be home! I had a busy weekend starting yesterday. I worked from 7-3:30, and left not long after that for Shreveport. I got there around 6:30 and met up with Heather and Cameron. We checked into the hotel and just hung out. Poor little man had dental surgery that morning, so he wasn't up to doing too much. He got 4 crowns put on his front 4 teeth, and then 4 caps on his side teeth. According to his dentist, all his breathing treatments for his asthma caused his teeth to dry out, which contributed to him having all this work done. Heather and I are a little concerned about his front teeth, they don't look real straight, but we're hoping they're just swollen and will look better in a few days. They go for a follow-up visit in 10 days.

Saturday morning we got up and got dressed, and around 9:30 Heather's sister Andi showed up with her two girls. We all had tickets to go see the Hannah Montana 3D movie. They all LOVE her! We went by the store and got some drinks and snacks and headed to the Boardwalk! We were really early and were expecting a really long line, but there was no line to pick up our tickets. We got our 3D glasses and headed on in. I was thinking it was going to be the old school 3D with those paper glasses with the red and blue film in them...but this was like high-tech 3d, it was really awesome! The movie was basically concert footage, with a little behind the scenes stuff. But the actual concert, it really did feel like you were standing right there! And everyone in the audience was sooo funny. There were a few previews before the movie started, and the previews were in 3D too, so when something jumped out at you, all the little kids in the audience started screaming. It was pretty neat.

We left the theater around 12:30 and headed out to the Boardwalk to try to find somewhere to eat. We found the carousel at the end, and Shelbee and Cameron both wanted to ride, so we did that. All the restaurants had too long of a wait, so we just got back in our cars and decided to just find something on the way out of town. We ended up at Ruby Tuesdays. The food was alright, but the service was terrible. The kids were cute though. I got a ton of good shots both
days!

Changes...

Yesterday marked my first day as an official full-time employee. Doesn't feel much different, just a lot more paperwork to fill out for insurance and other stuff. I'm excited about having my own coverage and be able to take care of myself. The next step is to get a few paychecks under my belt so I know what I'll be bringing home, and then it's off to an apartment! I'm ready. Sooo ready.

My schedule is a little wacky right now, they don't know who's team I'll end up on, so they can't give me a for sure schedule. I'm already tired, and it's only Tuesday, so we'll see how everything goes by the end of the week.

Their new movie "P.S. I love you" is a must-see. Very good!!

But I think I need to refrain from seeing many more romantic comedies in the near future. They make me lonely. Is that bad?

This is so sad....

Actor Heath Ledger was found dead in an apartment in NYC today. They are supposed to be doing an autopsy to figure out if it was an accident or a suicide. All the news stories I've seen say he was found face down on the floor with sleeping pills all around him. There were no signs of trauma.

He was best known for his role in Brokeback Mountain, although I never saw it. I thoroughly enjoyed him in The Patriot and A Knight's Tale. He was formerly engaged to actress Michelle Williams, who was also in Brokeback Mountain, but she's best known for her role on Dawson's Creek. Together they have a 2 year old daughter, Matilda Rose.

I've been on a music kick lately, and I have found some new artists that really are great. Google Sara Bareilles and her song "Love Song". She reminds me of Norah Jones.

One guy that's really stood out to me is Jon McLaughlin. He sang a song that was in the movie Enchanted and I really love his voice. This song is called Beautiful Disaster. Isn't he just so easy to listen to? And he's easy on the eyes and a great piano player as well =)
