This week I was observing at a local elementary school to get in some observation hours that I needed for a class that starts next week. I had been told the day before that if I came prepared (resume, program plan, test scores, etc), I could interview with the principal of the school, since I’m looking for a job.
Wednesday morning I got up, put on a nice dress, heels, a little more make-up than I normally wear, earrings, the works. We had to be at the school at 7:30 (ugh), so when I got there, of course the principal wasn’t there. I met up with my fellow observers and we walked down to the cafeteria where the kids were getting breakfast. I walked in with another girl, and as we walked in I noticed one of the little Kindergarten boys eyeballing me up and down. Amye and I walked past him to go sit down, and I hear behind us “Heyyy baby!” I thought for sure it was one of the older kids talking to one of the other female students or SOMETHING along those lines.
No.
Y’all, it was the Kindergartner. He had stood up, was walking sauntering over to us, with his eyebrows raised. We sat down and before he could get to us I just glanced in his direction and gave him the Teacher Stare. You know what I mean.
Anyone know the name for the boy counterpart to a cougar?
