Mom has been wanting to re-do the kitchen ever since we moved in here 10 years ago. Wow..10 years. Anyway. Dad finally got some of his money in from the textbook he wrote, so they're using that to completely renovate! I wish they were tearing the cabinets down and building everything again from scratch, but I don't think any of us would have the patience for that.
So far, we've replaced the stove and the refrigerator. Dad's not too happy about the fridge cause it's got one of those ice/water dispensers in the door, and when you select crushed ice it goes everywhere! Other than that, all the new appliances are great. We finally have one of those flat top stoves!
Here are a few pics of our cleaned out kitchen....and the destroyed dining room where everything has taken up residence!
I know I'm not in any of the pictures, but I promise I did help dad! Mom wasn't here...SHE'S the slacker :)
