Saturday I took Melain to the Mardi Gras parade. Laura's in the local Krewe, so she wasn't going to be able to handle her and Cade, so I told her she could hang out with me. My friends Jason and Pam came in town from Jackson with their kids, so we met up and found the perfect spot to watch the floats and catch some beads.
Not much else is going on. I have yet another sinus infection right now, so I'm fighting to get well. I thought my surgery last year was supposed to stop this from happening, but I don't know. I need to make an appointment with my ENT and go through some questions and concerns I have.
This weekend church is having a Valentine's Banquet, so they asked me if I'd do the childcare. It will probably only be 2-3 kids, so it won't be bad. Maybe next year I'll have someone to go to the banquet with :)
