25 things

Gotta give a shout out to Laura. I stole this from her.

1. Who was your first prom date? I didn't go to prom any of my 4 years of high school. No one asked me, and after a disastrous Homecoming dance with "the girls" my sophomore year, I never wanted to go to another school function again.

2. Do you still talk to your first love? I haven't been lucky enough to have one yet.

3. What was your first alcoholic drink? I remember drinking it, but can't remember what it was. You don't want to know how old I was.

4. What was your first job? I was the neighborhood babysitter (shocker!) when I was in junior high, but didn't have my first real job until I was in high school and worked at Sno Biz after school.

5. What was your first car? I drove mom's whenever I had the chance once I got my license. My first real car was the one I bought in '06.

6. Who was the first person to text you today? Sharon

7. Who was the first person you thought of this morning? Sharon. She woke me up texting me!

8. Who was your first grade teacher? Mrs. Smith at Weaver Elementary in Natchitoches.

9. Where did you go on your first plane ride? For my senior trip, my youth director took about 6 of us to this huge Christian concert in Pennsylvania. Sort of like a Christian Woodstock. In a field, camping out (although we stayed in a hotel), 6 stages, etc. We flew from Jackson to Baltimore and then flew out of DC back to Jackson.

10. Who was your first best friend and do you still talk? I have two. Addie and I were friends from about Kindergarten through 2nd grade. I moved to the school mom taught at during 2nd grade, and my teacher's daughter Samantha was also in 2nd grade. We didn't like each other the rest of that year, but 3rd grade we became the best of friends. I was in her wedding 2 years ago.

11. Where was your first sleep over? Besides grandparents, Samantha's house.

12. Who was the first person you talked to today? In person? My mom. She showed up at my door this morning to drop something off to me. I was half asleep.

13. Whose wedding were you in for the first time? Samantha's.

14. What was the first thing you did this morning? Peed and took a shower.

15. What was the first concert you went to? Tim Mcgraw in Natchitoches. I can't remember the year. We were in 5th grade I think? Mom took me and Sam. We got his autograph and had to take it to school the next day.

16. First tattoo. Don't have one. Yet.

17. First piercing. Got my ears pierced when I was 7. Got a second hole when I was 13. Or was it 14?

18. First foreign country you went to. Never been outside the U.S. I want to go to Ireland so badly. But at this point I'll take what I can get.

19. First movie you remember seeing. The Little Mermaid

20. What state did you first live in? I've always lived in Louisiana.

21. Who was your first roommate? Laura (my sister, I have too many Lauras in my life) and I shared a room when we were younger, and then Gina and I were roommates my first year of college in the dorm.

22. When was your first detention? Only had it once and it was for tardies in high school. I think I was a junior?

23. When was your first kiss? Depends on what kind you mean. A boy that liked me in 3rd grade chased me on the playground and kissed me on the cheek. But my first real kiss was freshman year in high school and my "boyfriend" (not sure I can even call him that, we never went on a date, just held hands walking down the hall and stuff) kissed me in a little alcove under the stairs between classes. *swoon*. He's now married. And not to me. Good thing too probably. He's a little strange these days.

24. What is one thing you would learn if given the chance? I'd like to relearn the piano. I took lessons for 5 years, but then stopped after we moved. I can still play some things and can still read music, but I can't just sit down and play like I used to. I regret it to this day. Also wish I could play the violin.

And 25. Who will be the next person to post this? Who knows!
