insomnia

I absolutely, positively should be in bed right now instead of writing this. But I can't sleep--I've already tried. Tossing and turning pisses me off, so I figured what the heck, why not blog a little?....

I rather enjoyed my long weekend. I forgot to sign up to work on Monday so I was scheduled off. I was a little upset at first, but it quickly turned into a lazy day. I had some friends over to swim in between rain showers, and then I basically vegged in front of the TV. Dad cooked some soup which was yummy, and then mom and I found some lifetime movies that were on and we halfway watched those and halfway watched another show.

Today was an off day too. I'm off work on Tuesdays, and as of last week I don't have class on Tuesdays anymore, so I slept late, vegged, and then went shopping! I had some extra money to burn from babysitting Alise (thanks Laura!) Friday night so I treated myself to a mall shopping spree. I got 2 cute shirts from Old Navy and 2 camisoles to go under them. Then I got a new pair of Levi's from Sears. I love my Levis, they're so comfortable!

Tomorrow is back to the ole grind, class and work. I'm not really dreading it, but then again I'm not looking forward to it either. Graduation is getting closer and closer! I bought my cap and gown Friday and I was oh so excited about that. I haven't tried it on yet, and I think when it gets closer to time I'm going to treat myself (or ask the 'rents) to a brand new outfit to celebrate the day!

Anyway I need to get under the covers and turn this addictive thing off. I worked out tonight--maybe that's why I can't sleep? I'm not wide awake, I was just tossing and turning earlier and making myself mad. Hmm...
