Hindsight is always 20/20

Taking the hint from my friend Laura (one of the many Lauras in my life, it seems I attract them!), here's my year in review:

January: Got some bad news about my friend's little girl, and then got better news about her. I listed my top 10 and mourned a celebrity (a very HOT one :) ) Started fulltime at my job and finally got my own insurance coverage.

February: Was asked to be a Godmother!

March: My "nephew"'s 3rd birthday, had my first ENT appointment and x-rays, followed by a CAT scan, and got my graduation present, and hung out with some cool singers.

April: Had sinus surgery and survived it!

May: Survived kitchen renovations, officially became a Godmother, and discovered this blog and this blog which has really changed me.

June: Found out my best friend was going to have another baby boy, was able to publicly talk about our vacation after we surprised mom and told her, paid off one of my student loans, had a laugh at our Louisiana fast food wonders.

July: WHALES!! Pictures, and more pictures! Also had the scare of my life (well, close to it).

August: Turned the big 2-4, and my good friend lost her grandmother the same day. Came face to face with part of the scare I had in July.

September: Threw a baby shower for my bestie, and caught my goddaughter's first big steps on video.

October: Celebrated my goddaughter's first birthday, and took a VERY well needed/deserved trip out of town.

November: Saw Carrie Underwood in concert, the birth of my second "nephew", and a few things I didn't do.

December: Did 40 things out of 100, this story broke my heart, had Christmas in my sister's new house and prayed for this baby boy (who's doing better and on his way to recovery!).

Whew! That was tough, but it was cool to go back and read about my year. I don't expect everyone to go back through alllll those links, but I put them there just cause I could . My blog, right? Hope everyone has a great new year! I'm here at work until 10:30 and then I'm headed out to my friends house to celebrate and hang out. I'll spend the night there because I really don't want to be driving the 30 miles home in the company of all the drunkards on the road.

Good riddance 2008!
